Hi,

Sitting in a cold house as the combi seems to not be working properly as of this evening. Blue power light is on and if you run a hot tap it fires up but central heating doesn't seem to be on at all. Doesn't matter what number the dial is on. Any first thoughts on what this might be?

TBH we've only been here a couple of months and "I think" I have been using the temp control on the actual boiler to adjust the heating. There is a radio controlled Salus programable thing attached to the wall in another room. Is this also the thermostat or is there usually one on the actual boiler to adjust?

Update: It's a Salus 620WBC and the good lady has figured out it was on frost mode on some such. The Salus controller is the most illogical, annoying to use device known to man. Have downloaded the manual and currently looking at Youtube vids to see if we can get the thing to do what we want.

It seems you can set the temp on the radio controlled thermostat but also the boiler - which one is actually in charge? I set it to 21 on the thermostat but say choose 3 on the boiler - surely this won't end up at the same temp?
