Plug Stuck In The Bath

The plug in our bath is a metal one which has got itself stuck in the hole!
It seems to have been pushed down a little too far and I cant get it out at all, no room to get down the edge with a screwdriver.

Any ideas how to get it out before I drill a hole in it?

Water is out and we dont own a plunger.

speaking from experience, a stanley blade will fit. aim to bring it up only slightly (else it'll snap) so you can get your nail under or the screwdriver. adjust the screw (i'm assuming its a pop up waste) and check it now & again.


next time you're in ikea, buy a gu10 bulb. they come with a small suction cup that is perfect for doing this.

Stanley blade did it, cant believe I didnt think of that earlier.

Can get back to making the whiskey now.
