Wilf the whippet has arrived
Discussion
Our new pup Wilf has arrived. We picked him up yesterday at 7 weeks old, a week earlier than we planned. He's happy on solids now and his mum was nearly dry and not keen on giving what was left due to some new sharp teeth plus Mrs RM is working from home this week so two of us to cope!
His first sight of his new sisters
One dog is a bit circumspect, one intrigued but a little wary and Lucy the greyhound has really taken to him.
He can dance:
How I prefer him, he's hard work! (Not really)
I'd forgotten how much work pups were. Good job it doesn't last too long.

He's pretty bright and has settled in well. The first night he was crying at 2:30am but a pee outside, a little food and a play saw him back to bed....for two hours
Next night a bit better and last night he slept from 10pm to 5:30am so pretty good. Like most pups he's like a clockwork toy, into everything for an hour or so then collapses in bed for an hour or two. Up for a pee, a nibble then off again. The long sleep last night was due to a play session on the beach. Running on sand tired him out nicely so I'll do the same today. Lord knows when I'll get any chores done.
He's taken to a cashmere mix cardigan which my other half says has shrunk in the wash.
For some reason, we have a seal skull in the garden (as you do). Wilf has had a good time trying out his new teeth.
