As it was warm on Sunday we decided to take George our bearded dragon with us to the supermarket, I waited outside with him while the Mrs did the shopping. He decided he wanted to 'drive dads Alfa' on the way home:

Lol. He came and sat outside the supermarket with me. I wouldn't leave him alone in the car, he'd probably poop and beardie poop stinks like you wouldn't believe!

He huffs and puffs a bit and looks a bit nervous if a bird flies over, but he knows we're there and so he generally relaxes and enjoys it. If we put him down outside he freezes and doesn't move at all. He loves being held though (most of the time!) He gets wrapped up in his blanket every night and falls asleep on us until his lights go out and we put him to bed.

Yep, head bobbing is a beardie males way of saying "I'm the boss ladies" and to tell other males that this is his patch. The females would normally do a circular arm wave to show submission to the male.
