Vaccination problem?

Hi all I took my dog for his first booster jab last week (14 month male akita)whilst brushing him a couple of days ago I noticed a large lump between his shoulder blades which seemed to be a little tender when I touched it I took him to the vet and the first thing he asked was is that the area where he had his booster jab? which it was he has given him a course of antibiotics and didn't charge me for the consult as he wanted to contact the vaccine supplier has anyone else had a similar problem after a booster as I cannot remember this kind of thing with my previous dogs.Thanks.

Thanks for the replies hope this is the case I don't like lumps they make you worry all I have got to do now is make sure he takes his tablets and doesn't hide them behind the sofa !
