Our eighteen week old Cockapoo.



We picked her up five weeks ago and so far she's been an absolute joy to own. Highly recommended as a breed if you're considering one. More than happy to provide details of the breeder we used, experience to date etc.

Yep. The one downside of a long coat. No shedding at all though so relatively clean floors. Other than the massive wet footprints that is...

How big they end up very much depends on the parents - toy, miniature or standard poodle, English show, English working, or American cocker means they can vary from about 12" to 22" in height.

Your 'typical' cockapoo is a miniature poodle crossed with either an English or American cocker spaniel. American cockapoos tend to be a little bit smaller than English ones which are normally about 14" - 16" in height. Think typical cocker spaniel but with more hair!

Character wise they have a great reputation - good with kids, friendly, loyal, intelligent, easy to train, great at agility, but not as high maintenance and subject to separation anxiety as a spaniel. Like any breed though, some will be a bit more 'mental' than others.
