My dog has broke about 5 panels out of the fence, my neighbours who own the fence have been understanding but are getting fed up.
The problem is, they breed Yorkies which have always been exceptional in their yappiness, when they start my dog tries to get them ( five of them I think ) .
I have tried putting things in front of the fence, this hasn't worked, I've tried introducing him to the Yorkies but they just want to attack him, there is no aggression on my dogs side, but he is the one smashing the fence panels.
This is not a old tatty fence either, he either knocks the panel out or puts his head through.
Any suggestions on how to deal with this?
He has no behaviour problems, he is just guarding his garden, but this has to stop.
Thanks for replies.

The fence panels aren't too bad, I put a new one in last year, tonight he has stuck his frigging head through it, sorry mate but that's not the answer.

Perhaps he thinks he is a stuntman, Mike !! smile
I've been trying to get him to bounce over the fence using the kids trampoline, he just isn't picking it up.

He is as dozy as ever.
There is no nastiness on his part, he just wants to play, the fence thing started by him banging it, the Yorkies would go mad and he would trot off looking chuffed, on reflection I should have nipped it in the bud there and then.
These dogs have attacked him a few times, he just looks at them with his ears up.
I haven't let him out this weekend unsupervised which is a shame, one of his weekly treats would be him out on the lawn with a bone from the butcher.

I thought id update this thread, in the end all it took was to shout at him a few times, he completely ignores the horrible fking yappy bd dogs next door.
I say this because I have put a new fence in this weekend ( the other side ) and have had two twelve hour stints of hearing the fking things run at their fence and constantly bark.
Rest assured that the next time the subject comes up I will tell him bluntly that he needs to get his own house in order , as no effort to calm or quiet down their dogs were made.
Sorry for the rant, but I will probably dream about those horrible little creatures tonight, I've heard that much of them.
