GPS pet trackers - which one?

So having had the not inconsiderable trauma of losing Dexter the Lhasa Also on a country walk early this morning (he's back now though thank goodness) I've been looking at GPS collar systems and getting increasingly confused by the plethora of options available.

Does anyone use one and do you have any recommendations?

So I'm thinking that Trax looks good for our needs, but I decided to do some checking on their Forum and saw this, posted by Tax in mid May :
