Best Vacuum for Black Lab who molts all the time?

Our 8 year old Dyson DC14 Animal went pop earlier - looks like the motor has burnt out. I can probably replace it, but it has seen slightly better days.

Any recommendations for stellar black hair removal vacuum performance from fellow hairy dog owners?

Well, job done. No surplus parts, proof will be in the dog hair lifting ability and whether it goes pop again after a few uses....
