Walking through London yesterday I took a pic of a fellow strolling along with a pair of solid blue Macaws on his shoulders. I am aware of a very rare Macaw called a Hyacinth Amazon, which are heavily protected and cost tens of thousands. Never came across any other solid blue Macaws though.....had an Amazon for many years so familiar with most of them

Are there any parrot fanciers out there?..(cue Monty Python jokes of course)....

Why ?

I could walk around outside with my parrot on my shoulder with no problem, in fact they don't want to come off you once they have bonded.
My experience also..had a yellow-naped Amazon that was very happy to be on my shoulder. Never tethered.
