Sharm El Sheikh - anyone been?
Discussion
Me and the wife are looking for a cheap holiday in April half term (she works in a school so times are limited) and just want to go somewhere cheap, warm and all inclusive.
Seems like Sharm El Sheikh fits the bill nicely, just wondering what its actually like?
Will it give us a bit of sunshine? Don't need any frills, just a decent beach all inclusive booze and somewhere to relax.
Cheers

I can get to Jamaica for about 1k per head, in a proper All Inclusive hotel (the Premier hotel only allows you 1 visit per stay to the italian, chinese or seafood)
I was there for 3 weeks in April 2010, and had one rainy day, apart from that it was proper decent sunshine.
I'm still looking though

do you book flights and hotel seperate?
I booked with First Choise (as was getting married there at the same time) so flew with Virgin Atlantic and had the full AI Package and it was absolutely superb.
I'm now considering booking The Dominican Republic in July for 2 weeks. Found a beautiful hotel (That my parents have stayed at before so i know it's nice) with All Inclusive for under £1k each. Seems better value than that hotel in Sharm that was mentioned earlier in this thread.
