Hot in December

Hey,

I'm looking to get away late November/early December for a chill out beach holiday. Was looking at Egypt, but seen the average temps weren't that high for December. Not looking to go too far, only going for a week or 9 nights.

Just wondering if anybody has been Egypt in December or an other ideas where it's hot? Needs to be hot enough to chill be the pool and swimming in a pool

Sri Lanka is a possibility. Just trying to decide if the long travel time is worth 8 nights. Could be one for 2 weeks next time!

I've seen a few people say Egypt isn't as bad as it looks on paper for temperature.

Budget is upto £1500 each for the right holiday.

Sri Lanka is looking good, just put off by the travel time and time difference.

Someone in work mentioned South Africa, I had a quick look, but wouldn't know where to go.

Sri Lanka is looking likely at the minute. Had a look at Cape Verde a few years ago, can't remember why I didn't go in the end.

I would like to go to Hawaii, somebody in work went, but coupled it with a week in San Francisco. That seemed like a good idea, so would want to couple it with something like that. Unfortunately my girlfriend hasn't got that much time off work. Otherwise it would have been Thailand for a few weeks.
