NYC Hotel suggestions

Going to manhattan for 7 days in late may but finding it really hard to decide which hotel to stay in - £300 a night max and ideally a city view

any suggestions?

still finding it difficult to choose! I've noticed lots of the prices are ex taxes and when you go through to buy them it creeps up to £450 a night!

sounds very disappointing! not sure about that view either!
