Firstly apologies for yet another Vegas thread!

Just booking a Vegas trip for the end of the year. I haven't been for a few years and have yet to try any of the new(ish) hotels (Aria, Cosmo, Mandarin Oriental etc)

The last few times I have been lucky enough to stay in a Salon Suite at the Wynn and the Encore, A penthouse suite at The Bellagio and a Panoramic suite at The Planet Hollywood. The Wynn was by quite a long way my favourite!

This year looking at the options,

1 Bed Penthouse SkySuite at the Aria
Lanai Suite at the Cosmo
A Skyloft at the MGM (if the wallet can stretch that far!)
Parlour Suite at the Wynn
1 Bed Penthouse at the Bellagio

My gut feeling is to stick to the Wynn, although I would really like to give either the Aria or Cosmo a go, any thoughts/suggestions?

Thanks for all the the suggestions, I am in my late 20's but am also taking my dad who is a very young at heart 68 as well as my girlfriend (who hasn't been to vegas before).

The Lanai suite does look very good but going with someone who hasn't been before I think she would appreciate the view from a room on a high floor, and also in December I am not sure if we would brave the hot tub!

At the moment I am thinking that maybe the wrap around at the cosmo might fit the bill. But am going to have a look at the sky suites at the MGM although I am not a massive fan of the property (seemed a little dated to me)

Keep the suggestions and comments coming!

Having thought we had made our mind up....2 bedroom Skyloft at the MGM, I've just got off the phone to the Cosmo enquiring about their West End Penthouses. There seems to be very little information about them online apart from the standard hotel marketing spiel! But they are coming in at almost £1k cheaper for the 4 nights compared to the Skyloft so I am considering it, has anyone got any experience of them?
