Good ole Britain for 5 days

Taking the olds away for a week around September,
The old fella aint too good on his feet so will want somewhere flatish with places to sit every 50/100 yards.
I will be take a bike of some variety so I can escape for a few hours and pedal my time away.

Any recommendations?

We have looked at Harlech, but going off a map it seems slightly remote, could be wrong.
