Hi All,

I'm looking at heading to the Maldives in Jan for what will be a well earned break. I've been looking at the following resorts (listed below) however Moofushi is the one that stands out. Has anyone been here and if so, how was it? Tips / recommendations etc?
Moofushi
LUX
Komandoo
Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu
Centara Grand
Kihaad

Thanks both thumbup

Yes I have requested an odd numbered villa from 71 and above. Let's hope it works out!

@ Rgee - any excursions or other 'must-do's' you'd recommend? Also regarding drinks, I've seen last year's wine list, which was surprisingly decent. However what sort of beer selection did they have? Was it all part of the AI package? Same for spirits / cocktails too?

Just to close this thread off, we had 10 nights at Moofushi around the end of January. It was, without doubt, the best holiday we've ever had. Not cheap, but did feel like good value for everything on offer.

Here are a few pics.

View from the bed:

Island at full capacity (yes really!):

Wine tasting in the lagoon:

Sunset from out villa:

Dinner on the beach:

I did see a turtle on the reef by the Senior Water Villas (south side - odd numbered) but didn't notice how many flippers. On that same stretch of (very shallow) water, I also had a flippin' moray eel out of his burrow and swimming straight towards me. Bloody well crapped myself!
