Which exciting place should I go for a short break?
Discussion
Just realised there's a pretty big gap in my travelling schedule in October and November so looking for suggestions on where to go for 4-5 days. I'm a contractor so don't really want to take too many days off (booked my long holiday this year already) but could maybe stretch to a whole week.
Requirements are:
- Somewhere interesting and unusual, been to all the usual European and Asian places.
- Don't mind packed schedules or long road trips, we are young and energetic
- We like natural scenery and local food/culture rather than big cities and museums.
- No beaches or cruises etc.
Would love to do a big South America tour but not enough time... maybe next year!
I'm thinking central Asia (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, etc.), anyone got other suggestions?

Does 4-5 days include travelling? If so, then somewhere in Europe.
Where have you been already?
Yeah, includes travelling time. But we are very much weekend warriors, managed to do Jordan in a bank holiday weekend Where have you been already?
Been to all of Western Europe and half of Eastern Europe, but after a while it all gets a bit samey... I was looking at Russia but the visa costs £100!!

That's a good shout actually.Couple of days in Marrakech, a couple of days to the Atlas and maybe finish with day in Agadir?
Leaning towards taking off a whole week now so potentially have 9 days
