Hotel for 1 night stopover in Le Mans

We are heading from Calais to Angouleme on Friday, Googlemaps tells me it's a 7hr drive.

SWMBO gets a bit car sick, so I have agreed to break the journey halfway overnight, Le Mans seems a logic stopping point.

Any recommendations for hotels? Doesn't have to be bling, but not a fleapit either. Free parking would be a bonus.
