Cuba, 7 nights, where to stay.

Considering an early. March week in Cuba' would like to go for longer but can't due to commitments.

So stay in Havana and take tours from there, stay in Varadero and go to Havana a couple of days, or another location ?

Havana and cigar factory are musts, would like to tour some civil war sites.

Actually any advice on things to see would be appreciated, it is just someplace I want to visit before the US embargo is lifted.

Lots of good advice guys.

I think we will be able to stretch it to 10 days, a few in Havana the rest at the coast.
