Cottage over Christmas/New Year

Our usual Snowdonia cottage has unfortunately been booked, we usually stay here:

I'm looking for something similar for two weeks over the same period. We like privacy, peace and quiet, no mobile phone signal, and chucking loads of coal into the burner. There's just the two of us but space is always nice.

Any recommendations? It doesn't necessarily have to be Wales, anything that fits the above criteria would be fine. It should be a max 5-6 hours drive from Hertfordshire.

Thanks, that looks quite nice. I can probably get by without a wood burner, but there's something about one that makes the long winter evenings better Proximity to the sea makes up for that though I think. I don't mind admitting I'm a radio amateur, and being near the sea is a good thing!

I'll add that to the short list. Any more for any more?
