New York buffs: where is this?

Huge long shot, and maybe this should be on the Film thread, but does anybody know the location of this apartment (or possibly hotel terrace)? It appeared in the opening scenes of Woody Allen's movie Manhattan. Obviously it's in Manhattan, and by the looks of it on the edge of Central Park somewhere.

If it is a hotel, I intend to take Mrs Blackpuddin there. An apartment might be harder.
