Where to go for New Year

We've got into the habit of a few days away at New Year, fly out say 29th and back on the 1st or 2nd. Done a couple of Frankfurt, Mannheim, Freidrichshafen in Germany and Lyon and Toulouse in France and also done a few UK breaks too.

Must be cheap flights with reasonable (3star) hotel. Budget say £500 for two pax. Any suggestions?
