Two nights in Singapore
Discussion
I have a survey at a dock in Johar, Malaysia, Just over the bridge from Singapore. It's a long way for one job and it's my first long Haul flight. Only worked as far as Nuremberg so far!
Anyway, flying Emirates as I hear it's free gin.
The site contact is meeting me and taking me to the dock from a hotel.
Where to stay? I like making the most of my time abroad abd will have plenty of time to nap on the plane.
Any knowledge will be appreciated. Nothing too expensive as every penny saved is one in my pocket.

Cheers gents. It's a roody long trip for a 2 hour site visit. I think controlling myself with the free booze in the lounge and plane will be my biggest issue!
I have a day to myself on Monday. What can I do with myself? I would definitely like to view the culture, however see the new fancy bits too. Got a cheap room in the Carlton near Raffles.
The food halls sound like my sort of place.

Well. What an incredible city.
MRT from airport to city hall, right next to hotel.
Currently enjoying happy hour with a view of MRS boat hotel.
My grandad was stationed in Santosa in WW2 so going over the cable cars to the museum.
My site visit tomorrow are sending a driver to pick me up and deliver me at the port in Johor.
Then I may go see the Botanical gardens.
I could quite easily stay here for the rest of my life.
