London-Kuala Lumpur: Singapore, KLM or Malaysia?
Discussion
Heading over to Melaka for work after Easter and wondering who PHers would choose...?
KLM: LHR-AMS-KUL, B777-200, seat pitch doesn't look great, good safety record though. Not flown with them before.
SIN: LHR-SIA-KUL, B777-200, good seat pitch, full cabins though, and means passing over destination twice each way!
MAS: LHR-KUL direct, A380 (most likely), possibility of slightly emptier aircraft but then there's last year in the back of my mind.
I hate flying enough as it is, so a good safety record usually sways it over price or flight duration (to a point). Alternatively, what are the Qatar/Emirates/Ethad options like?

I flew MAS two years ago on the A380 and it was as pleasant an experience as you can expect from a 14hr flight. I had also been thinking that in light of last year's events they'd a)be extra vigilant about safety, and b)possibly be less packed than Singapore (who I flew with a year ago). However, I am an exceedingly nervous flyer and MH370 and MH17 still stick in my mind (irrationally, I know...).
