Travelling to Camden from Cheshire, parking/Tube/times?

I'm taking my son to see Passion Pit at the Electric Ballroom in Camden on Thursday night. We're travelling down from Cheshire so will probably end up coming down either the M40 of M1.

Just wondering the best way to get in and out without crawling though traffic. Ideally I'll park on the outskirts of London and Tube in and out. Where's the best place to park to Tube in and what time would the last Tube be at night?

Ended up driving down the M1 to Jnc 4, 5 mins into Edgeware and parked in the Broadwalk Centre carpark. Then just a 20 min tube to Camden.
