South coast beaches
Discussion
Me and the wife are looking for a Saturday, Sunday, Monday break, on the South coast.
Probably somewhere between Dover and Newquay.
Which beaches have folk visited, and what was the good points about your visit there.
Prefer a sandy beach, or some sand, some pebble.
Plan on this weekend.comming, so will also be looking for guest house, or something.
Thank you
vette

East Portlemouth. Opposite Salcombe. We visited last year and were very impressed, it's a lovely spot.
Salcombe is great and you're not far from Kingsbridge, Dartmouth, Slapton Sands, Blackpool Sands, etc.

Bournemouth is probably the best of the south coast beaches.
There are nicer, quieter beaches, but they can be quite small. Eg Durdle Door, Climping, West Wittering.
Chesil is also a good one. Devon has plenty, but I am less familiar with those
