Alternative to Shangri la, The Shard
Discussion
I'm looking to book a nice hotel in London for a Saturday night in July.
We've got 2 primary school aged children.
I've just tried the Shangri la, but their suggestion is that 1 child shares our bed.
The idea of paying £600+ for a room but having to share a bed with a farting, snoring, fidgeting individual plus one of the kids some how seems wrong.
Any suggestions for a modern hotel in London for a special weekend at around the same price (or cheaper )?
Thanks

That looks very nice although there might get be at least one problem
The first is we were looking for something a bit more modern (unfortunately I'm in a wheelchair now and you tend to find newer buildings are a bit more accessible )
Far more importantly though is the price !
Although double room rates aren't to bad, I put 2 adults and 2 children in the search and the only result it came up with was the Manor House Suite at £10500 a night
A bit out of my price range unfortunately
