I have a couple of days in Vegas next year whilst on my honeymoon and I'd like to have a couple of things lined up.

I'd like to take a helicopter into the Grand Canyon, possibly for breakfast - any recommendations on company to go with?

Also a show would be cool - any suggestions?

Obviously I'll take enough cash to make playing in the casinos worthwhile.

And obviously visit the Pawn Stars shop hehe

Any futher suggestions/recommendations please?

Indeed. As our friend has demonstrated, cold drinks are easily obtained.

One thing to mention from the OP's list, the helicopter trips only go to the west rim of the GC, the 'proper'/best part is the South Rim which is much further out.

The good (and bad) thing about Vegas is that there really aren't any Hidden Gems, it is all in plain view, with at most a 5 minute walk from civilisation to 'out of the way' spots like the Container Park, or Ellis Island, or Fremont East and the new Restaurant Row Downtown.
It seems that some helicopter trips will go into the canyon down to the Colorado. When you say the South is the proper/best part what do you mean if you don't mind me asking?

All the pictures you've seen on tv or in books of the Grand Canyon, they're from around the South Rim which is the deepest/widest section.

The West Rim is narrower and shallower, but is within helicopter range of Vegas.

You can fly out to the South Rim area in a small plane, but the National Park don't allow tourist flights into their part of the canyon.

I've done trips to bo The helicopter trip is well worth it (unless you are a regular helicopter passenger) but the South Rim scenery is much better.
Very interesting, thank you. I travel by helicopter 2 or 3 times a year and always enjoy it smile

Perhaps I'm best to just jump in the car and go to the South rim as we move on instead?

Or maybe both wink
