Cornwall area / cottage recommendations

Looking to spend 4 nights to a week in Cornwall late May and have no idea about where to stay. We will be driving down so happy to get around by car. Would ideally like somewhere where we can walk to a pub in the evenings for a drink and meal, or a nearby town that is easily accessible (i.e. not too much in the middle of nowhere!). We are a married couple in our early 30s with no kids.

Would welcome any suggestions of areas or specific cottages (have been looking on classic cottages website)

This website is very useful for finding nice cottages and you can filter on what is important to you. Standard stays are a week, but if contact the company they can do shorter stays.

Thanks for this recommendation, we really liked the look of this place as wanted somewhere modern but still with the feel of an old cottage / barn, so have just booked it for a week. Looking forward to it.
