Going over to Bruges early on Sunday morning. Plan is to stay at the Hotel Navarra overnight then off to Carnewal for an exhaust system mid morning monday then back to the UK Monday evening.

Where is best to sample the local delicacies, ambience and food on Sunday, lunch and dinner? Breakfast on the Monday morning?

Wife and I are really looking forward to the mini mini break.

Half Moon brewery tour sounds interesting! Do you have to book?

A word of warning, one of our credit cards was cloned at a pizza restaurant in the square. I can't remember which one (it happened in 2008). Fortunately it was spotted by the CC company who locked the account and were in touch very quickly; not something I would have expected in Bruges though.
Not nice, but I suppose it can happen anywhere these days, which is unfortunate.

So, on the Monday, after Carnewal at Maarkedal, say leaving at 3pm, oit's back to Eurotunnel at Calais for 7.30pm. Looking at the map, logical route is via Ypres.

Any suggestions for for interesting stuff at Ypres or early food prior to tunnel?
