Which class will you be flying? I always choose Emirates when I go East and I'm fortunate that my employer pays for business on long haul (which occasionally gets upgraded). Emirates business is quite nice with the bar upstairs. Emirates First has the bar + a shower + private cabins.
Whoever you fly with, for that distance, you really want to try to stretch to Premium Economy at the absolute minimum.
Qantas are pretty good. However, their PE seats always fell as if you sliding off the front, though. BA have more comfortable seats that Qantas but worse food and IFE. Air New Zealand always rank well. I did a few legs around Asia on Singapore Air last week and they weren't too bad.
If you are transiting through Changi (and don't have lounge access), take a spare T Shirt etc and grab a shower there (there are a few places where you can get a bite to eat and a shower for $10 - $15.
Will be economy unfortunately! We may be able to stretch to premium economy we are going to Australia on a WHS so money will be tight!Whoever you fly with, for that distance, you really want to try to stretch to Premium Economy at the absolute minimum.
