Best Desert 4x4 Experience

A pistonheads request - What is the best desert 4x4 experience in Dubai? I'm going in a few weeks and seen a few mixed reviews. Is there any people can recommend?

I was thinking 4x4 but quads or side by sides sound good too. I am not too fussed about meals just a good experience.

I probably shouldn't hire a 4x4 as I have driven off road once in a wood in Kent.
