For no reason the outside lane has been coned off just before the border going into Belgium and the same going into France. No police or check points.

But there's just cones, filtering down to one lane,no police, road workers or vehicles.

Closing a lane off on a motorway isnt going to stop terrorists isnt it. Like last time Mohammed and his fking mates struck, lets shut the main road in and out of France but actually do fk all,it was divert off of the motorway around a roundabout then back on the motorway, No body was stopped,it was an inconvenience exercise.

Anyways,if your driving through France tonight heading into Belgium prepare for a wait or divert off and head down the canal road.

Are the French actually checking passports, the Friday after the attacks on Nice, they just waved us through on the tunnel, the day of the attacks in Paris the enhanced checks included just standing in the inspection shed, no one was stopped, the English immigration where checking ever car.

Also rather worryingly the que to get back into Calais docks is right up to where the jungle is, I'm hoping that the st with the migrants won't start again.

Are p&o ferries allowing that far advanced change of ticket, might look at leaving the boat and going on the train, there not answering the phone at all ,even on other routes.

It'll also be the abandoned road works in Dover, what seams to be a roundabout removal is taking a bloody long time..

I'd place ££ on it that lorrys have tried to jump the que and not been let back in so blocked the second lane, as they do EVERY time that Dover Tap is on.

What's going on?? Only Dover-Calais seams fked, and driving out of France into Belgium. I spoke to p&o ferries earlier and the lady I spoke too had heard that only a few staff where working the check points. I'm leaving at 10pm tonight to get on the 7:35 am tomorrow morning.my spidey senses are tingling that it's just to ps off the brits, could be wrong though.
