Hi

Lucky to go off to Disney world and understand that you use a wrist band to 'pay' for most things there.

How much cash $ do you actually need to take with you? Do you pay for all food on the wrist band? I understand the band is linked to your Disney account and credit card.

Are you staying at a Disney hotel? If so, you can link your My Disney Experience app, your Magic Band wristband and hotel account to give you a frictionless, cash-free stay. You then settle up when you check out. Of course, you can choose to just buy stuff with cash/card at point of purchase instead.

The wristband will give you access to your hotel room, entrance to the parks (assuming you've booked tickets) and you can use it to buy food, drinks and merchandise anywhere in the DisneyWorld complex.

Can't recall exactly what we spent last year on meals but we were there for 5 days (stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort) and tended to buy 3 meals for the 4 of us (2 adults, 2 kids) which worked out as enough to feed us all. IIRC $100 a day tended to cover most stuff we needed.

I've not done the dining plan for a few years as I'm not sure it's as good value as it used to be. When we last used it, you got coupons for meals, drinks and snacks. With young children we did a similar thing, ordering fewer meals than people meaning we always had spares.
Yes in the Wilderness woods and have I think part of dining plan booked booked - not the full dining so I assume we use our bands to pay or credit card.

$100 a day sounds a safe bet. Thx
