Does anybody know what std convertible cars Thrifty are using currently? The last two years it has been Camero which I would prefer to the Mustang that the likes of Alamo & the other in-terminal rental companies use. If they have switched to Mustang then I will go with the cheapest supplier as the Camero was slightly more expensive but worth it as it has the built in Sat-Nav

Went old school and picked up the phone and called them. Thrifty at MCO continue to use Camero. New stock this year.

$10/day or $50/week if you want their cashless tolling pass.

I've just booked a mustang convertible with budget at MCO. Hope they have one when we get there!

Was odd at first when they direct you to a line of cars and you just choose one!
Getting to pick your own is good. Gives you the opportunity to look round them first so you can avoid the ropey ones. Switch the ignition on and see what the milage is. Last time we had a mustang it must have been nearing the end of its life cycle it had 50k miles on it and was showing its age. Not the best built of cars to begin with but life as a rental accelerated the deterioration of the interior.

Got here....all the Mustangs had gone ??

Was offered a Beetle cab....but the nice guy at the desk gave me a Camaro SS V8 for $45 extra, so well chuffed

You cannot fault the service over here compared to at home..
Is the fuel still stupidly cheap? you will need it for the 8-pot, I was only getting 20 mpg out of the smaller 6 cylinder last year.
