Gatwick parking recommendations?
Discussion
Mrs Actual is going to Spain for a week in September and has pre-booked 1 weeks parking in the South Terminal Short Stay for £118.95. I expect that lower priced parking can be had but for a small premium the convenience can't be beaten, park car, cross bridge, enter terminal, check in.
Echo what the others have said the on airport parking operated by the airport is usually as good as any other. It's easy, quick & if you do it on the internet cost competitive with the others. Is it really worth saving 10-20 quid for a potentially dodgy operator?
You'd be surprised sometimes as well, for example I always use the short stay parking at LHR T5 as it's usually cheaper or the same as long stay when booked online.

BP,
You've obviously seen all the recent media stories about "dodgy" meet and greet parking companies, especially those operating around Gatwick. I live reasonably close and when I need to get there I use a friendly executive car transfer service from home. It costs me about £100 for a round trip, and I consider this good value when compared to the risks associated with the dodgy firms.
I regularly drive in the Gatwick vicinity. It's easy to spot the cars left with the so called valet services because they are parked up in bunches on the local roads and you see them being moved around on a regular basis. Whether this is better than a car being parked up in a muddy field with the keys hanging about is debatable.

Not really an option for us as we live in Wilts!
Aah... Fair enuf. Anyway have a look at summer special they are not in middle of nowhere. You he to hand over keys and flight info and best to pre book. The entry barriers he multi cams on that film yr car all angles so if u get a scuff they have a look at it. A mate did that and they played it too him. Clearly see it was him driving and it was already there! That shut him up.Don't do the meet and greet, we waited 2 hours to get a car that was covered in mud inside and out, and suffered 30 mins to get out of the car park due to lots of other people with the same idea.
Offered £15 for cleaning the car and a refund of 25%.......guess what we are still waiting.
