Do Virgin flights and lounge have a "free bar"
Discussion
Was explaining my holiday plans with a mate last night, who highly recommended i do not go straight to the car hire place at Vegas airport, and that i should get a taxi to hotel and come back later for the hire car.
He is almost certain that both the Virgin lounge and onboard bar are all inclusive? And knows my lack of self control
I have a standard upper class ticket both ways.
Ive had a google, and a look over the Virgin website and cannot see anywhere where it states "free bar"
I kind of find it hard to believe there is a free bar, as you could consume a lot in a 10 hour flight, plus i thought drinks/snacks was where they made good profit.
If this is true i will need to adjust my car hire pickup times
So i thought PH would know the answer to this one

Perfect, am only used to Easyjet where they charge extra for breathing should make that 10 hour flight go a bit nicer!
Unfortunately i don't get the chauffeur service as was paid for via airmiles
I will also almost certainly be the poorest chap in upperclass!! but when you can get a return upperclass ticket for £400 (and 100K airmiles) why not

Its Gatwick I'm Flying from, Found a trip advisor link, doesn't seem too bad

I assume the food is free as well?
In regards to VIP entrance, i will be getting a taxi from a hotel, so i just ring up on route (as i won't know the Taxi's reg upfront), and tell the taxi "Virgin VIP entrance please" ?
On another point, Im going to be going up to Gatwick a day early hoping too see central London as i have never been. Is there an easy way to get from Gatwick to central London (and back)?

Don't travel much but you had 100000 air miles to pay for your ticket parade?
Mmmmmm thinks it might be half term, never been to London, have you ever been in an aircraft! LOL
I dont know why im bothering to reply to this, but:Mmmmmm thinks it might be half term, never been to London, have you ever been in an aircraft! LOL
1: i spent £30K last year on a Virgin Amex card, which at 4 Airmiles to the pound = 120,000 Airmile points.
2: i did not realise it was a requirement to have visited London?
3: i have been on several Easyjet flights, where there was not a free bar, onboard drinks had to be paid for.
