Nuremberg trip- advice

Hi All,

Me and the good lady booked last minute flights to Nuremberg a week ago for a few days away. The problem is that we don't know too much about the city other than the obvious links to the Nazi party and the castle.

Does anyone have advice on where to eat, visit etc.? I would be up for a day trip to somewhere local if it was worth the journey.

Any advice would be appreciated.
