I returned from yet another 'new' country this morning and my mate and I got to thinking about how many we've been to over the years.

Based on countries I've actually visited rather than just transferred through or re-fuelled in I reckon I'm up to 24. As a balance too let us know which countries you've visited (if you can remember of course wink) and also how old you are because visiting 24 countries in 60 years isn't on the same scale as 24 in 18 years for example. I'm 23 so basically one per year on average for me!

So let the willy-waving commence with my list wink
UK (England, Scotland, Wales)
Eire
France
Germany
Holland
Italy
Spain (mainland, Tenerire, Lanzarote)
Switzerland
Austria
Belgium
Luxembourg
Croatia
Bosnia

Tanzania
South Africa

China
Hong Kong (possibly a bit dubious!)
Thailand
Vietnam
Cambodia
Malaysia
Singapore

Australia
New Zealand

lots of lists of countries yawn.... whats the weirdest place you have been to?
A remote school in the western Serengeti (the bit with no tourists!) delivering sports kit or sitting in a remote village getting a puncture repaired using a bike pump later the same day!

A random supermarket in Bosnia on Thursday. We were driving from Dubrovnik to Split and decided we should at least stop for a drink as we passed through Bosnia!

I have one rule now - each passport I get has to be replaced due to being full before due to expiring.

Bit of a bump from the dead, but the thought came into my head after I added my first visa to a brand new passport at the weekend. It felt strange seeing my well-stamped old passport replaced by something fresh and blank hehe

Here is my updated list from the last time this was done.

Age: 26
Countries: 28

UK (England, Scotland, Wales)
Eire
France (Le Mans, Paris, South Coast etc)
Germany (Ring, Cologne)
Holland
Italy
Spain (mainland, Tenerife, Lanzarote)
Switzerland
Austria
Belgium
Luxembourg
Croatia
Bosnia

Tanzania
South Africa
Qatar

China
Hong Kong
Thailand
Vietnam
Cambodia
Laos
Malaysia
Singapore
South Korea

Australia
New Zealand

USA

The most recent ones are in bold. Hope to add Taiwan, Japan and possibly India to the list before the year is out plus visiting a few of the others again smile

I got a new passport in February after having only a couple of empty pages left in the old one. I could have kept it going for a bit longer, but I have a few trips planned and didn't fancy applying for a new one from a random city somewhere!

I think the old one had about 60 stamps and 8 visa stickers in it over 7 years.

Bump from the ancient past, but after a summer roadtrip around Scandinavia, I can now add a few more to my list.
I've visited 41 countries in my 30 years so far, mostly since I turned 18 so in the last decade or so.
Done 5 continents, just South America and Antarctica to go although I doubt I'll make the last one!
Country number 42 will hopefully be Morocco or possibly Egypt in 2016.

I've always wanted to visit South America, but never quite got round to it due to circumstances, chances to visit other places and really that I want to do South America properly and actually spend a few weeks enjoying various countries rather than just a quick trip to say Buenos Aries or Rio. It'll happen one day though. hehe
