A 3 litre Volvo engined Marcos is for sale on eBay.

This has prompted me to consider why these cars hit the market so rarely. Were they made in considerably less numbers than the steel chassied V6 or is it that owners tend to hang on to them for longer? The present owner has had this one for 27 years!
Is it something to do with the straight six engine? Are these any better than the V6?
I've also noticed that the straight six TVRs - the (Vixen)2500 and 2500M seem to be harder to find then the V6 counterparts.
I'd be interested in your views or insights as to why this is the case.
Regards,
Chris

I'm still unsure why these surface so rarely. There are several V6s for sale.
