What footwear with jeans?
Discussion
In another thread I read that trainers with jeans is a total no-no. I agree and I'd never do it. However, in the same thread I also read that shoes with jeans is a total no-no too. I usually wear casual slip-on shes with jeans, so clearly I'm perpetrating a serious transgression of style laws. So, if you can't wear trainers with jeans, and you can't wear shoes with jeans, what, exactly, should you be wearing with jeans?
With my casual jeans I wear trainers, got a few different styles including converse type look, superstars etc. I guess you could wear boots with them as well, but I don't really like boots so don't wear them.
With my more formal jeans, it'll either be smart/ funkier trainers or more usually some loafers.

Has the Fashion Victim Thread finally arrived?
Not really, I don't actually give a toss and will probably continue wearing comfy shoes, 'cause that's what I like to do, but I was curious as to what the answer was given that trainers and shoes pretty much covers most footwear but neither are considered acceptable.Do you really care that much about what strangers on the internet suggest you should or shouldn't wear?
Just wear whatever makes you feel happy and comfortable with yourself.
Personally, I either wear boots or trainers (not running shoes, usually Oniksuka Tigers) and think either work just fine.

Really? I wear trainers with jeans 65% of the time. 30% of the time with shoes (usually brown). 5% with flip-flops.Do I care if that bothers the fashion gurus? Not in the slightest.

No, like I said above, I was just curious as to what people who didn't approve of trainers or shoes would be wearing, given that trains and shoes covers pretty much everything. Okay, it's a slow Sunday. I don't feel like doing anything productive and the OH is glued to her laptop, hence the discussion!Gassing Station | The Lounge | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
