Whistling

We are getting a dog in a couple of weeks.

I urgently want to learn how to whistle properly (fingers in mouth way).

I have been practicing all morning and just sound and look like an asthmatic downy.

Rather embarrassingly I was spotted on the stairs at work earlier by someone whilst trying to master this.

Has anyone got any tips on how to achieve this please?
