Did a search for one but couldn't find it. But you know how pants the search function is.

Let's discuss poker.

I am a novice. Internet only Texas hold 'em at Full Tilt. I have gone from 'play money' turning 1,000 into 6,000 over a couple of weeks and now am hoarding a bankroll of ten real dollars which goes down to 6 dollars and back up to 11. Bet limit / low stakes only. I am wary of no-limits because sometimes I make daft calls (and I know when I am doing so) when I get bored of folding so many hands.

So, anyone here play properly?

I like a game now and then, only against real people though, not on the computer.
One advantage of computer, as I see it, is that I can fold hand after hand and nobody notices or cares, if I were playing like that with a few mates it would seem boring. On the computer when I finally play a hand nobody notices that I am the guy who always folds, so I can scoop up a pot with my killer hand. Real people would probably notice and be scared off. Maybe. What do I know?

I've been playing Texas for about 2 years.... 7 friends and I play 8 times a year and have damaged our livers irreparably in the process. Huge fun. We put £50 each into the pot as our total stake with each chip being worth 50p.

I'm rubbish at it, but did have a royal flush last year and cleaned up!

Is there a non gambling Internet type app for practice? I wouldn't mind trying to sharpen my skills, but without betting...
Most sites have a play money section.

They make you better at working out the very basics like which hand do I have and the more technical stuff like calculating outs, equity and pot odds, but the betting / bluffing is not realistic I understand.

I play online small-medium stakes full ring cash games on Pokerstars for a living, and have done for the past 5 years.

Feel free to ask me anything you want to know about poker.

.
Blimey.

What are your stats for percentage of hands folded, percentage that went to the flop, turn ,river, etc?
