Ebay etiquette
Discussion
Not being an Ebay professional (despite having had an account for over ten years), I would like some opinions on how long a buyer should take to pay for a item which they have won.
I normally pay almost immediately after the auction, and certainly within 24 hours when I next log-on.
I had an item for sale which ended on Saturday evening with a unique bid which was placed very shortly before the auction end; here we are Monday evening and still no signs of payment, despite the 'automatic' invoice and another invoice which I sent on Sunday. I emailed her earlier today and have had no response.
How long is it normal to wait before I raise a dispute about non-payment? Am I being unreasonable here?

Well - just to conclude the tale - she did pay, eventually, on Tuesday night after I'd gone to bed. I saw the message on Wednesday morning (auction finished Saturday, remember), so true to my advert conditions, made sure I posted it within 2 days...unfortunately Easter gets in the way of a quick delivery now...
