It seems The Lounge is going 'Mumsnet' at the moment so I thought I'd get it back on track...

Everyone has a right to privacy. I don't expect to have a video of me doing my job put up publicly on the internet. In fact I'd probably go a step further and abort the scan and ask the patient to re-appoint. Confidentiality works both ways.
But I didn't post a video of the sonographer did I? What you think you saw isn't actually on the video. Really! You'd abort the scan? Hello hello, you do realise that you are there for us, the paying customer, don't you? In one of the most delightful experiences that you will ever see? Don't you rather see it as a privilege to see the start of a new life? And enjoy that? You must be a real pleasure to work with. Interesting that took the time to stalk my posting history and make a reference to another thread that has no relevance to this one. That perhaps, says more about you than me?

Well you did, I mean she's right there in the middle of the screen pointing at your kid.
Yeah I would abort. I don't know where this idea that we study for years and work long hours just to be treated like crap comes from. It doesn't work that way.
Fortunately I don't do baby scans because they bore the crap out of me. However, I don't take issue with you nabbing a quick photo of the screen. If you've broken your arm, it's your arm, you might as well have a photo of it as a souvenir. I do take issue with you recording the sonographer though. Does she know she's on the internet?
Perhaps. That thread stood out quite well though so it didn't take much Googling to find it.
There is a black shadow to the left of the screen, waving a finger about. It's not quite 'filming her doing her job'Yeah I would abort. I don't know where this idea that we study for years and work long hours just to be treated like crap comes from. It doesn't work that way.

Working long hours and 4 years study? Welcome to real life. That's almost as laughable as your comments about car salesmen.
So, you're a radiographer? And you'd abort a scan, even if someone had a spiral fracture of the femur would you? Just because someone was taking a cheeky movie?
And do you ask people to pay for their X rays? Do you? Answer that question.
You know it's a 'baby tax' don't you?
I'm not playing that game.
