Previous owner of our house had a large aluminium channel made out of chequerplate. Think he used it as some kind of flood barrier for the driveway. It's about 4.8m * 0.8m *2mm. Got this kind of channel section _/----\_ if that makes sense.
S'pose that is the obvious answer. Not needed in the last 8 years though. Apparently someone used to block the drain with grass cuttings hence the floods...
Or construct a Defender body completely with it and buy some smooth alloy panels to go on the tops of the wings and bonnet. That'll stir it up in the 4x4 community!
