I understand that most natural deaths occur between 3-4am when the body is at it's lowest period of activity.

I wake up each morning and think "well made it through another night".

I don't plan on knowingly being aware I'm dying, like being shot or in a car crash, but;

One day i know I won't wake up and that really scares me, does anybody else have these feelings?

My fear of death during sleep is a result of waking up a few years ago to the still warm body of my partner aged 48, no struggle, no noise, went to bed as normal kissed each other goodnight, i woke up with the alarm, she didn't stir when i shook her to say good morning.

A most surreal, scary and heartbreaking moment, and i relive it every morning!

ETA; i don't really know why i wrote that, it's not that it means anything to total strangers on here, but makes me feel a bit, lighter?

2nd ETA: it was during belated (1 year later) bereavement counselling, that i met my current partner whose husband had been killed in a car crash by a speeding driver. Weird how things work out!

apologies for my outpourings, this is the lounge and meant to be light hearted and piss taking.

Well thismorning i got up, took dogs for a walk across the foggy fields, made my OH a cuppa when i got back and thought fk it! Stop living in the past, it's not fair on my current partner.

As the saying is there's always somebody worse of than yourself, so from now on it's cup brimming to top, fk wondering about the Scottish vote on Thursday, fk death right up it's enduring arse hole, not that death and the Scotland vote are linked!

One day it will happen - but not today yeah!!!!!!!!

I'm also going to enjoy my kit car before i put it to bed for the winter at the end of the month, 204bhp and 650 kg always puts a grin on my face!
