Current business suit fashions

Guys, bit out the loop here as not need a suit for work for a few years.

Whats in fashion and whats a social business no go right now?

Any links to decent outfitters, specifically for shirts as well....whats a decent tie style??

I've just tried on my old suits. Only two fit...but one is a 3 button suit. It's from Reiss and feels so good but I heard 3 buttons are a faux pas now?

I popped down to MS outlet this morning. None of the suits fit me! 38 too tight. 40 too loose!

I gather 3 button is too "yoof" then?

Ah, okay, I'll keep the 3 button Reiss as I really like it...I feel like I'm naked in it!

Never a fan of patterns...shades of grey are it for me!

What about ties? Thinking of just getting some subtle blue, red and yellow ties and sticking with white shirts.

I view shirts as disposable...whats good but cheap?
