"You have to drink to have a good time"

Does anyone else get as pee'd off as me with those people who try to make you feel guilty for not drinking Alcohol when you're out?

We're off out for a meal for a friends birthday later and I'll be on the water as i'm trying to do some training so laying off the alcohol. However my "friend" has a habit of trying to persuade me to have a drink & no doubt will have some comments like "don't be so miserable" and "why are you being boring", as if you have to have alcohol to have a good time.

Well just to update on the night out, my "friend" as expected made a big show of me asking for a water, even to the point of making me order it myself whenever the waiter came around. I just ignored it to be honest, but it's very irritating.

Felt great getting up nice and early for a bike ride this morning & washing the cars before the OH had even managed to drag herself out of her pit.
