best eBay protection?

I'm after a bit of help please!
I'm looking to buy some jewellery on ebay around £750 and I can pay by PayPal or I can pay directly by credit card.
What offers me the best protection?
The jewellery is about the right money but a little under other examples so i want to be sure I'm protected if it is too good to be true. However the seller has lots of only 100% feedback.
